Bodbe Saint Nino Monastery is located 2 kilometers away from Sighnaghi. The temple was built at  the grave of Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia. Modern temple was shaped around VIII-IX centuries. Georgian Kings used to pay great deal of attention to Bodbe Monastery. The monastery has been repaired and restorated many times. There is a path which takes us down to Saint Nino spring.

Sighnaghi is a town with beautiful architecture. There is an old stonewall which used to surround  the old town and protect it from invasions. From the stonewall there is a beautiful view. Georgian scientist and public figure Solomon Dodashvili was born in village Magaro of Sighnaghi municipality.
