Svaneti

The highest inhabited area in the Caucasus. Four of the 10 highest peaks of the  Caucasus  are located in the region. You can find here:

You can enjoy the beautiful views of mountain Ushba from the cable car, to the mountain of Hatsvali. Have a rest in incredible restaurant “Zururldi”( located on 2300 m. from the sea level). 
Now Svaneti offers you not only picturesque scenery, architecture and cuisine, but one of the best skiing infrastructure. Mestia has a wide open ski resort with a frequent fresh powder. Even if there’s no snow in other resorts, you can always enjoy skiing in Mestia. Heliski is an option also.
